‘Under Modi 2.0, India geared up to face the new reality. Its politics underwent a drastic transformation. From ruler-centric, it became people-centric. With his “Rashtra Sarvopari”-Nation First-narrative, Modi had been able to unleash people’s power in a massive way during the onslaught of the Covid Pandemic. His efforts at making the last citizen of the country a stakeholder in its governance resulted in a woman from the country’s traditionally lagged behind tribal region of Western Orissa rising to become the first citizen-the president of India. It is no exaggeration to say that almost everything in the country-its governance, politics, organizational culture-is changing. People too have changed. It is the New India rising.’
