ನಮ್ಮ ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಗ್ರಹಣ: ಕಳೆದ ಒಂದು ಶತಮಾನದಿಂದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತವಾಗಿ ವಿಕೃತಗೊಳಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಠ್ಯಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೀಳರಿಮೆಯ ವಿಷಬೀಜ ಬಿತ್ತುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಹಿಂದೂ ಧರ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂದೂ ಸಮಾಜಗಳೆಂದರೆ ಕೇವಲ ಸತಿ ಸಹಗಮನ, ಅಸ್ಪೃಶ್ಯತೆ, ಅಸಮಾನತೆ, ಮೂಢನಂಬಿಕೆಗಳು, ಒಂದು ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಾತೀಯತೆ ಎಂದು ಬಿಂಬಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ತಲೆ ತಗ್ಗಿಸುವಂತಹ ಇಂತಹ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಭವ್ಯ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುತ್ತವೆಯೇ? ಖಂಡಿತ ಇಲ್ಲ.
