ಇದು ಯಾರೋ ಹೇಳಿದ ಗೋಳಿನ ಕಥೆಯಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ಒಂದು ಹತ್ಯಾಕಾಂಡದ ಡಾರ್ಕ್ ಡೈರಿ. 2023ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ ಏಳರ ಮುಂಜಾವು ಹೊಸ ಭರವಸೆ, ಕನಸು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ನರರೂಪಿ ರಾಕ್ಷಸರು ಎರಗಿ ಬಂದರು. ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಆಕ್ರಂದನ, ಮುಗಿಲು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದ ಚೀರಾಟ. ಅಗ್ನಿನರ್ತನ, ಮನೆ, ಹೊಲ, ಮೈದಾನ, ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲೂ ಹೆಣಗಳ ರಾಶಿ. ಇಂಥಾ ಕರಾಳ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ ಸತ್ತುಹೋಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೈ ಚೆಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತಾಗ, ಎದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತರು ಕೆಲವು ಹುಲಿಯಂಥ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು!
